Why am I running for office?

I am running for office because I believe our county deserves a new, authentic, educated, and experienced voice. I will champion low taxes, public safety, infrastructure projects, and attainable housing. It is time for a change in District 1. If elected I will be a valuable asset to all county residents and a natural fit on the current board to help lead St. Lucie County into the future.


About Me:

I am a multiple generation native of St. Lucie County.


I graduated from local schools, including:

· Fairlawn Elementary Magnet School

· Lincoln Park Academy Middle School

· John Carroll Catholic High School

· Indian River State College – A.A. Degree

· Florida Atlantic University – B.A. Degree in Political Science

· Florida Atlantic University – Graduate Certificate in Public Procurement

· Florida Atlantic University – M.P.A. Master’s Degree in Public Administration


I have a long history of civic experience in St. Lucie County:

· SLC Commissioners Intern, 2010

· SLC Citizens Budget Committee (2011 – 2016), Vice Chairman

· SLC Planning and Zoning Commission (2014 – 2018), Vice Chairman

· SLC Bicycle & Pedestrian Advisory Committee (2016 – 2018), Chairman

· Fort Pierce South Beach Association


I have years of work experience that will make me an effective commissioner:

Over the last decade, I have navigated government from both the public and private sectors as a Development Project Manager, Community Redevelopment Project Manager, and a Facilities Project Manager. I am currently teaching Civics at Dan McCarty Middle School right here in St. Lucie County.
